Green Hoole

1–2 minutes

Eco Communities are linking with local groups to help our partners bring practical ideas and shared resources to make it easier for communities to live more sustainably. We want residents across Cheshire to reduce waste, reusing what we already have, and caring for our local environment.

In Hoole we are working with the team at Hoole Community Centre.

Here we host:

  • Litter pick hub
  • Refill hub
  • Reuse hub – party kit and event reusables
  • Blister pack recycling

Hoole Green Hub helps us all turn concern about waste, climate change and the local environment into practical action that anyone can take part in. By offering shared resources and simple solutions, the Hub removes barriers and helps people make more sustainable choices without judgement or cost being a barrier.

Hoole Green Hub helps us all turn concern about waste, climate change and the local environment into practical action that anyone can take part in. By offering shared resources and simple solutions, the Hub removes barriers and helps people make more sustainable choices without judgement or cost being a barrier. The Hub creates opportunities for residents, families, volunteers and local groups to work together, whether through refilling, borrowing reusable kits, joining a litter pick or recycling items that would otherwise go to landfill. These shared activities help build relationships, confidence and a sense of pride in our neighbourhood.

We hope Hoole Green Hub is a place to learn and try new habits in a supportive environment. It provides accessible information, visible actions and hands-on opportunities that make sustainability feel achievable rather than overwhelming, especially for children and young people growing up in a changing climate.

Most importantly, Hoole Green Hub shows the power of collective effort. Small actions, when shared across a community, add up to real impact. By working together at Hoole Community Centre, we are reducing waste, protecting our local environment and creating a healthier, more resilient community for now and for the future.
