Eco Communities (EC) is a true community enterprise supporting the whole of Cheshire to live more sustainably. It was founded in 2019 by Helen Tandy and Christian Dunn and is managed on a voluntary basis by people who are passionate about helping the planet at a local level. Our directors have other full time jobs and do not take an income from EC.
Our Projects
These take many forms from helping organisations to gain plastic free status, providing litter picking equipment to the community or planning and hosting local sustainability events. Over recent years we have increased the support and projects for businesses as we feel there are many organisations who want to do more but don’t know where to start or haven’t the time.
